Systems Engineer

Description:
****MUST have an Active Secret Clearance or to have had one within the last two (2) years with an investigation within the last 5 years****

Job Description:
1. Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
2. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
3. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
4. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in an Engineering or Technical Discipline
- Avionics design, integration and troubleshooting experience on one or more platforms
- Experience with Mission Systems Hardware on one or more Avionics platforms

Desired skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated writing skills (specifications, reports, etc)
- Knowledge of/experience with Avionics processors
- Experience with Mission Systems capabilities and implementation
- Knowledge of/experience with Ethernet® interface
- Subcontract management (Statement of Work preparation, design reviews, risks definition and tracking)

Education:
1. Level 2: BS+4-8 YRS or MS+2-6 YRS
