Description:
Engineering Technician 1
Location: Carlsbad, CA (92008)

ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE required!

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to specialize in composite fabrication and R&D Projects for Military Radar absorbing materials.

Qualifications include:
• Must currently hold Security Clearance in order to work on classified units alone.
• Able to perform task as per Engineering Drawings and instructions.
• Read Blue-prints and create parts.
• Use of Ovens, Autoclave, Vacuum Bagging systems, Painting (spray guns, regulators)
• Perform necessary prep work to ready parts for paint .
• Bonding hardware and inserts. Use of bonding agents, curing.
• Lay-up technician qualified-wet and pre-preg.
• Vacuum bagged, oven cured, press cured experience.
• Winding operator experience.
• QAD, WORD AND EXCEL Proficient.
