  • Client is seeking an individual with specialized skills in digital design tools with a firm background in computer operating systems and processes necessary to develop Client and unique digital circuit blocks and apply advanced algorithms in next generation silicon processes.

Job Description



  • We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to support qualification and verification responsibilities in the development of pilot control systems, throttle control systems, and related flight control products for the next generation of business, regional, and air-transport aircraft.

  • Engineering duties will focus on the later stages of product life cycle, from critical design completion through manufacture, environmental qualification, and system testing. While working in a cross-functional team environment, daily tasks will include:


    • Requirements: management

    • System/Mechanical design, modeling, analysis, and review

    • Test/verification planning, development, and execution,

    • Occasional customer interface, coordination, and communication, and

    • Coordination with manufacturing operations.



 


Qualifications:



  • Proficiency in using DOORS software for Requirements capture and management is a plus.

  • Experience with NX Cad Software, mechanical drawings, manufacturing processes is highly desired.

  • Knowledge/experience in the area of electro-mechanical systems or aerospace mechanical systems is desired.


 


Education:

Description:
This position will support mechanical analysis projects supporting aircraft weapon system programs. Specifically, the engineer will provide analyses, planning and draft documentation to address mechanical, electrical or avionics systems safety, suitability, and effectiveness requirements.
