Drawing Checker

Description:
Our client in Florida is looking for a seasoned Drawing Checker to work in Oklahoma. Submit your resume if you meet the qualifications!

The ideal candidate for this position will perform the following tasks:
* Checking mechanical and electrical design drawings and models for compliance to established standards, at predetermined levels of depth, as well as the development and maintenance of 3D models and detailed drawings. Applications include cockpits and instruments for flight simulators, maritime trainers and other platforms.

Mandatory Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum of 4 years as Document / Drawing Checker
* Minimum of 6 years experience developing 3D models and detailed drawings
* Minimum of 4 years recent experience using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
* Ability to work in a collaborative environment to develop innovative solutions
* Working knowledge of ASME drafting standards including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Example: Y14.100, Y14.24, etc.
* Minimum of 4 years experience with GD&T
* Assist with program deliverables: Design, Modeling and Drafting
* Must be a US citizen
* Ability to obtain a security clearance; must have active secret clearance walking in the door

Desired Qualifications and Experience:
* Design/drawing checking experience
* Associates Degree in Engineering or equivalent training
* Advanced SolidWorks training
* Experience using SolidWorks Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM)
* Familiarity with aircraft cockpit systems and maritime platforms
* Existing security clearance
