Structural Engineer

Description:
Role: : Structural Engineer
Location: Centennial, CO
Duration: 12 months’ contract

Job Description::
• This engineering function provides engineering design and systems integration for the Propulsion fluids systems (cryogenic, non-cryogenic, hydraulics and pneumatics) and/or Ordnance Component/System design.
• The position requires mechanical design capability as well as understanding dynamic, structural and fluids analysis concepts.
• Generation of engineering drawings or changes as well as assembly and testing requirements is part of the job function.

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering
• Discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of relevant job experience.
• Requires a bachelor's degree and 4 -8 years of experience (for external candidates only).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with fluids and thermodynamics designs.
• Familiarity with structural design.
• Proficient with mechanical design utilizing NX-11, Team Center, Model Based Engineering.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office platform tools and Project integration skills.
Propulsion-Ordnance System Design
• NX 11 is preferred, recent exp in either 10 or 9 is also acceptable. Team Center exp is a strong plus!
