6 Month Contract to direct hire potential

Pay Rate $30-40 /hr W2

Top 3 Skills:
Siemens NX experience,
2-5 years of ASME standard experience/knowledge,
mechanical industry experience, defense product experience preferred.

Job Duties:
This position will join the Design Modeling Group in Rocket Center. You will model fully defined components and assemblies using Siemens NX11, and will create/revise parametric drawings in conformance with ASME modeling and drawing standards. This position will also collaborate with various engineering disciplines to accomplish other related tasks, so the ability to work well in a team environment is a must.//

*Additional responsibilities include:
- Work with other drafters/designers, engineers, and manager on assigned projects.
- Create product/tooling designs and layouts from engineering notes, drawings, sketches and general instructions

*Basic Qualifications:
- HS diploma or equivalent is required.
- Associate’s Degree in formal educational program in Mechanical Drafting/Design/CAD or Technical design preferred.
- Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance; U.S. Citizenship is a prerequisite.
- 2 years of related CAD experience is highly preferred.
- Microsoft Office experience.
- Strong mechanical skills and background.
- Comfortable working for extended periods at a work station.//
*Additional Qualifications:
- Previous experience with Siemens NX.
