Key Responsibilities:

Assemble and fit detail parts and structures, performing varied drilling and riveting tasks

Use portable riveting guns, pneumatic guns, drills, countersinks, files, and more to rivet structural assemblies and parts

Follow blueprints, work orders, and sketches to determine the sequence of operations, rivet size, and hole pattern

Inspect all work to ensure a defect-free assembly prior to final inspection

Keep accurate logs and records, such as MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, and PCOs

Align and assemble parts using jigs, clamps, pins, and fasteners for precise assembly

Maintain a clean and organized work area in support of the company’s 5S Program

Additional Duties:

Participate in Lean Activities and continuous improvement initiatives

Maintain shop equipment and adhere to safety rules and regulations

Perform other duties as assigned to support the production team

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required

Experience: 1 year of related structural assembly experience preferred (experience with Solumina and Smarteam is a plus)

Graduates of the Savannah Tech Aircraft Structures Technical Certificate Program may receive one year of experience credit

Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, 6" scale, and perform basic shop math

Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work any shift, and perform tasks in small spaces or on ladders/stairs

Job responsibilities for this role include:

  • Perform routine maintenance operations, such as the replacement of power plant and aircraft components

Qualified candidates must have:

  • Airframe & Powerplant license

Interior Installation Technician

Description:

Essential Functions:

  • Safely perform aircraft removal, installation, and/or fabrication of aircraft interiors (galleys, closet, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors and vanity ledge fill panels). Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure compliance with Repair Station procedures, internal and FAA paperwork, sign-offs and quality specifications. Specific fit and installation tasks are to be completed in compliance with work order instructions and specifications. 

  • Use the material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks and to sign off paperwork. 

  • Follow standard operating procedures when using tools and equipment such as hand tools, band saws, shears, sanders and brakes. Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and tools. 

  • Comply with safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies and use personal protective equipment as required. Address unsafe conditions before putting people or property at risk. 

Education and Requirements:

  • Application installation, fabrication or related experience or trade school preferred.

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

  • Able to climb ladders and stairs, work in small restricted areas, and lift up to 40 pounds.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:

1. Perform assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures and varied drilling and riveting operations; ensures parts/assembly meet FAA requirements, customer specifications, and high standard of quality
2. Rivet structural assemblies and parts, including sheetmetal parts, using all tools required to do the job (e.g. portable riveting guns, pneumatic guns, pneumatic drills, counter sinks, rivet shavers, files, reamers, rivets)
3. Read work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches, and operation sheets to determine sequence of operations, type size and hole pattern for rivets.
4. Check all work and ensure a defective free assembly prior to final inspection
5. Maintain and use all logs and records (e.g. MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs). Use resource planning system to enter daily labor against correct Work Order and Item numbers
6. Align and assemble parts to be riveted using jigs, holding fixtures, pins, clamps, and fasteners

8. Work under moderate supervision on duties and tasks
9. Support Lean Activities

Position Purpose:
Set up and operate automated machines to fabricate parts, applying knowledge of shop theory and procedures, shop mathematics, maintainability materials and layout techniques.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
1. Operate automated machine using existing programs. 
2. Test program and ensure machine is set up in accordance with drawings. 
3. Remove and/or replace cutting tools and offsets as required. Inspect condition of tools and replace as needed. 
4. Manipulate programs to fit inserts into material, ensuring fit and conformity. 
5. Inspect cut material/part prior to CNC operation to ensure conformity and compliance with blueprints, models, and/or engineering documents. 
6. Identify material and appropriate cutting tools. Set up material and inspect for serviceability.

1. Monitor material supply. 
2. Validate preventative maintenance and minor repairs on machines.

Position Purpose:

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
1. Performs complex high quality repairs to finished surfaces of aircraft furniture in the shop and on-board aircraft. Applies finish to furniture using spray equipment and other manual/mechanical methods. 
2. Interprets material specifications to ensure finished product meets design and engineering requirements with a high level of quality and detail. Coordinates with Design group to ensure compliance with customer approved design samples. 
3. Complies with and champions Safety, 5S and housekeeping. Ensures the protection of aircraft interiors (PTP). 
4. Mentors and trains lesser skilled technicians. 
5. Works to develop and implement process improvements that address safety, reduce cost, reduce cycle time, and man-hours using Lean Six-Sigma tools. 
6. Utilizes the material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks and sign-off work. 
7. Assists in developing initiatives to meet individual OGSM requirements, as required. 

Additional Functions:
1. Accepts Lead responsibilities when needed. Oversees projects and coordinates with Lead to delegate tasks to assigned technicians. 
2. Conducts safety audits and assists team members in doing safety audits. 
3. Assists in maintaining shop equipment and associated JSAs. 
4. Develops YI@W (Your Ideas at Work) as the opportunities present themselves. 
5. Assists in monthly 5S audits. 
Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:
1. Possess a working knowledge of Gulfstream inspection, process specifications and terminology.
2. The ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
3. Able to climb ladders and stairs, work in small restricted areas, lift up to 40 pounds and work any shift.

Job Description

The Quality Operations Specialist is responsible for developing conformity packages for the 525 program and to ensure the compliance of the company quality management system to the regulatory requirements. Skills required:

  • Previous work at 14 CFR Part 145 Repair Station

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:

1. Performs complex high quality repairs to finished surfaces of aircraft furniture in the shop and on-board aircraft. Applies finish to furniture using spray equipment and other manual/mechanical methods. 
2. Interprets material specifications to ensure finished product meets design and engineering requirements with a high level of quality and detail. Coordinates with Design group to ensure compliance with customer approved design samples. 
3. Complies with and champions Safety, 5S and housekeeping. Ensures the protection of aircraft interiors (PTP). 
4. Mentors and trains lesser skilled technicians. 
5. Works to develop and implement process improvements that address safety, reduce cost, reduce cycle time, and man-hours using Lean Six-Sigma tools. 
6. Utilizes the material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks and sign-off work. 
7. Assists in developing initiatives to meet individual OGSM requirements, as required. 

Additional Functions:
1. Accepts Lead responsibilities when needed. Oversees projects and coordinates with Lead to delegate tasks to assigned technicians. 
2. Conducts safety audits and assists team members in doing safety audits. 
3. Assists in maintaining shop equipment and associated JSAs. 
4. Develops YI@W (Your Ideas at Work) as the opportunities present themselves. 
5. Assists in monthly 5S audits. 
Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:
1. Possess a working knowledge of Gulfstream inspection, process specifications and terminology.
2. The ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Job Title: High Voltage Powertrain Engineer (Hybrid Systems)

What You’ll Do:

As part of our Trackside Support Group, you’ll travel to race and test events, providing critical engineering support for the LMDh car in the IMSA series. Your mission is to monitor, analyze, and optimize hybrid controls and high-voltage systems, ensuring peak performance and safety standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting race and test events alongside HRC and partner racing teams.

  • Monitoring hybrid system performance, including mechanical, electrical, and thermal systems.

  • Serving as the OEM HV Safety Officer, defining HV safety protocols, and ensuring safe operations.

  • Performing ESS system commissioning, decommissioning, and vehicle safety assessments.

  • Conducting telemetry data analysis of hybrid systems, including battery, motor, inverter, and DC-DC systems.

  • Developing tools, macros, and scripts for system performance analysis and durability testing.

  • Liaising with race teams, sanctioning bodies, and performance groups on energy management and regulatory compliance.

  • Providing daily reports on system performance, reliability, calibration updates, and more.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Education: BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) with a focus on hybrid systems.

  • Experience:

    • 3–5 years working with hybrid systems, ideally in motorsports.

    • Hands-on experience with hybrid/BEV systems, powertrain calibration, and controls.

    • Proficiency in telemetry data analysis and technical reporting.

    • Knowledge of ERS operational states and HV safety protocols.

  • Skills:

    • Advanced data analysis and tool creation.

    • Ability to read schematics and work with electrical components.

    • Hands-on problem-solving with energy systems and power electronics.

    • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Experience in F1, FE, LMP1, or similar environments is highly desirable.

Pay Details: $1,730.77 to $2,307.69 per week

Assembler (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Schedule: Full-time; Consultant (12 Months), Monday to Friday, 1st Shift (9/80 Schedule), 5 AM - 2:30 PM. Overtime may be required on weekends.

An exciting opportunity is available with the Spectrolab Team for an Assembler in Sylmar, CA. This role involves performing complex production assembly operations for solar cells and solar panels, as well as related equipment and accessories, for space applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform processes for solar cell fabrication, including photolithography, thinning, cap etch/window clean, evaporation, sintering, and electrical testing.

  • Conduct semiconductor growth processes, including operating MOCVD vacuum systems and metal-organic material handling.

  • Utilize hand soldering techniques, wire harness assembly, and component bonding for production tasks.

  • Operate and maintain tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, soldering irons, and wire identification tools.

  • Inspect and assemble small parts under microscopes with precise attention to detail.

  • Document production tasks accurately and adhere to safety regulations.

  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and ensure quality standards.

  • Follow blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to perform manufacturing tasks.

  • Maintain compliance with company policies and display a team-oriented attitude.

  • Lift up to 20 lbs and work while sitting or standing for extended periods.

  • Wear a smock, hair cover, and gloves as required for cleanroom environments.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (or relevant military/work experience).

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to lift 20 lbs and meet the physical requirements of the role.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience using SAP.

  • Familiarity with inspection under microscopes.

  • Previous experience with welding, soldering, and small-part assembly.
