CNC Programmer - Mastercam Kent WA area - 1509

Description:
Our client in the Kent, WA area is a manufacturer of precision-machined parts and sub-assemblies for aerospace and defense and is looking for a CNC Programmer using Mastercam NC Programming software. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CAD/CAM systems, machining processes and programming techniques to generate NC code to produce parts from blueprints and manufacturing planning.

Main Duties:

Set tools per job requirements.
Change cutting tools and adjust feeds and speeds per job requirements.
Read technical drawings and set up the machines in accordance with these blueprints
Use computer software to model cutting paths and program machines accordingly
Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications
Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality
Consider tools required to cut particular materials and program machines accordingly
Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise
Perform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and sharpening
Train new employees on how to properly operate CNC machines and programs
Qualifications:

Proficiency with MASTERCAM, 2+ years min experience
General knowledge of standard M and G-Code language, machine offsets, and part locating
Understanding of post processor controls and settings.
experience with CAD Design and 3D solid modelling experience preferred such as CATIA/Solidworks,NX, CREO etc, along with GD&T fundamentals
Must be able to perform minor edits to the program at the machine as needs.
Must be willing and able to set up and operate multiple machines at a time.
Must be fully familiar with common inspection equipment and perform preliminary inspections of your work.
Must be fully capable of interpreting aerospace drawings, parts lists, specifications, and client requirements.

Our client in the Seattle WA area is a leader in the growing Space Industry and looking for a Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize the procurement, production, and distribution of materials essential for building advanced space station modules on a Hybrid basis.

Key Responsibilities

Recruit, train, and lead a team of supply chain specialists.
Monitor departmental workflows, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Conduct performance reviews, fostering professional growth.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to forecast material requirements.
Develop and maintain detailed inventories of raw materials and components at multiple locations.

Familiarity with ERP systems, Lean Manufacturing principles, and aerospace material standards is a plus.

Plastic Injection Molding Instructor - Remote or Onsite - WA - DEC2024

Description:
We are seeking an Injection Molding Plastic Instructor to work remotely or onsite in Washington state. This is a part time role for few hours per week to give an introductory course on injection molding to engineers and technicians. Prior experience with CAD tools such as Solidworks or CATIA would be helpful.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver introductory training program on injection molding processes, equipment setup, and tooling.
Create and maintain training materials, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical guides.
Assess trainee progress
Qualifications:

Degree or diploma in Plastics, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
3-5 years of hands-on experience with injection molding processes and manufacturing.

Space Systems Structural Engineer - WA - DEC 2024

Description:
Our client in the Seattle WA area is a leader in the growing Space Industry and looking for a Space Systems Structural Engineer to ensuring spacecraft systems' structural integrity and performance. Working closely with cross-disciplinary teams, you will lead advanced structural analysis, design optimization, and testing initiatives to meet mission-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced structural analysis for spacecraft, including modeling, simulations, and verification of components under various loading conditions
Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulations using industry-standard software to evaluate stress, strain, thermal response, vibration modes, and structural fatigue of spacecraft, subsystems and components.
Collaborate with design engineers to optimize structural components for weight, strength, and cost.
Assess the structural integrity of spacecraft, identifying potential failure modes, and conducting risk assessments. Ensure compliance with spaceflight standards and mission requirements.
Analyze spacecraft performance during various mission phases and propose structural solutions to meet mission-specific requirements
Support the design and execution of structural testing programs. Interpret test data, correlate and update models as necessary.
Prepare detailed analysis reports, including simulation results, methodologies, and recommendations. Communicate technical findings to cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field with a focus on structural mechanics.
5-10 Years of experience in structural analysis and modeling, specifically in the space industry
Proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., NX, CATIA, SolidWorks) is a plus.
Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and industry standards (e.g., NASA, SMC).
Proficiency in FEA tools such as ANSYS, NASTRAN, or Abaqus.
Extensive experience with spacecraft structural design and analysis, including materials used in space applications (e.g., composites, titanium, aluminum alloys).
Strong understanding of structural dynamics, stress analysis, and fatigue techniques.
Knowledge of spacecraft structural design requirements and environmental conditions (thermal, vibration, acoustic loads).
Successful demonstration of spacecraft designs that have met mission objectives.
Proven ability to thrive in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams.
Adaptability to fast-paced environments with shifting priorities and deadlines.
Passion for advancing the commercial space industry.
