JOB TITLE: Aircraft Structures Mechanic
LOCATION: Kinston, NC
PAY RATE: $34/hour

Job Details:
Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)
Pay & per diem: $110/week for those who qualify

Summary:
Performs assembly and installation of parts and components per blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
Uses precision measuring instruments and manual/automated tools to complete assignments.
Conducts functional testing, rework, and fabrication as needed.
Moves materials, documents discrepancies, and supports continuous workflow through training and collaboration.
Cross-trains in inspection and obtains SIA qualification.
Requirements:
Local candidates strongly preferred
Must be able to work any assigned shift, including overtime and weekends
Must be able to stand and work for the entire 8-hour shift
Verifies part dimensions using mechanical and electronic measurement tools
Performs various assembly tasks, including:
Drilling, sealing, and inserting fasteners
Varnishing, painting, and countersinking
Applying sealant and assembling sub-structures
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
