Our team currently has an opening for a Contracts & Pricing Representative. The Transactional Contracts & Pricing team has an open position to support. One position would support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) customer across aircraft like F/A-18, F-15, CH-47, P-8, KC-135, B-52 or B-2 which have complex proposal and execution challenges. The other position would support international or commercial customers across similar platforms.

Primary Responsibilities include:

o RFP/PPOA review, proposal pricing and development, order review, and interfacing with internal/external customers to address emerging issues.
o As a member of the Acquire organization and Program/Business Management teams, conducts and leads proposal development and negotiation and provides contracting expertise to develop and negotiate creative business solutions for new spare business.
o Represents the company to diverse customers, including U.S. Government, commercial, international and public/private institutions.
o Authorized to exercise commitment/signature authority in accordance with formal delegation to negotiate and contract for the sale or development of high performance defense and aerospace products and services (e.g., aircraft, missiles, spacecraft and launch vehicles).
o Submits offers and serves as official company representative to the customer. Develops and/or maintains effective working relationships with customer counterparts and the next level within the customer organization.
o Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Interprets contract requirements, manages change and resolves conflict.
o This position works closely with internal/external customers, Engineering, Procurement Financial Analysis, Financial Planning, Scheduling and other internal functional partners.

SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE:

Adobe Experience
MS Office Experience, specifically Excel.
Experience in contracts or finance related positions which could include developing proposals or negotiating contracts preferred.

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years' related work experience).

The individual selected for this position will be working on a project where they will contract for military spare parts and repairs, working alongside a team of 35 individuals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of finance acumen, possess strong communication skills and have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. This candidate must be adaptable to change and value diversity within the workplace. Certifications are not a requirement for this role.

Additional Info:
This position will start off as a virtual position. A hybrid schedule of both on-side and virtual will be required once restrictions are lifted. For this reason, the manager would prefer local candidates only.

Manager is wanting to scheduling interviews as soon as possible. This will be a 2 round interview, with the first round being over the phone and the second being in-person. The interview will include both experience and behavioral based questions.
