Description:
Seeking Mechanical Auxiliary Systems Engineer for Warren, MI area.
Mechanical Engineer with vehicle systems experience (HVAC, Fluid Systems, Seating) ONSITE near Warren, MI
for 12+ months CONTRACT with possible convert to Perm/Direct role. US Citizen required
Experience: Prefers 3-5 year level of experience
*** 3 to 5 years of relevant experience working with vehicle auxiliary systems design or closely related systems.
Education: BSME DEGREE
 Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (as demonstrated through experience, training and/or testing)
 Working understanding of vehicle HVAC and NBC collective protection systems
 Understanding of vehicle chassis level fluid power systems
 Understanding of combat vehicle seating systems
 Strong oral and written communication skills
 Ability to work within CAD based design systems.
 Knowledge of or ability to learn model-based systems engineering techniques.
Essential Functions:
 Participate in the development of combat vehicle auxiliary systems from derived system level requirements.
 Coordinate and review subsystem/component performance analysis related to auxiliary systems including as a minimum heating/cooling performance, fluid power and flow.
 Manage design and development of subsystems such as HVAC, seating, and hydraulics working with the auxiliary systems assigned design staff as well as other multi-disciplinary functions.
 Prepare and present design development status to management and customers.
