Avionics Wire Harness Routing Engineer - HYBRID ROLE - ONSITE 4 DAYS A WEEK

Description:
***HYBRID ROLE - ONSITE 4 DAYS A WEEK***

Day to day responsibilities:
• Responsible for developing wire harness routing paths in vehicle
• Work collaboratively with entire VG team using Catia 3DX
• Coordinate with all stakeholders including structures, systems, program management, production control, supply chain, and suppliers
• Develop trade studies and design reviews to present to program leadership
• Production support – redlines, change requests, non-conformances, MRB

Must Have:
• B.S. Aerospace/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent or 5 years of relevant experience
• Position is open from entry level to senior level
• Experience integrating wire harnesses in a vehicle
• Understanding of EWIS principles
• Understanding of aircraft-type wiring and components such as connectors, backshells, conduits, relays, switches, terminal junctions, etc.

Preferred:
• Experience with Catia V5 and Catia 3DX
• Design experience and shop floor experience
• Experience developing mechanical components including machined parts, sheet metal, and composite lay-up
• Experience with an electrical database such as Mentor Graphics
• Experience with Microsoft Visio
• Experience with flight test instrumentation sensors
