Description:
Parametric Modeling Designers / Engineer - REMOTE

Set up design elements and sequences within CATIA and 3DExperience. Designing and working with pre-fab building design elements. Work is fully remote, and company has several openings with varying levels of experience and pay.

Need to have knowledge of:

Setting up a project, product structure and creating an Assembly Structure
Understanding the Historical Parametric Modelling methods.
Knowledge of the Building Design App
Knowledge of Civil Structure Design and the Civil Structures Engineering Applications
Can create design intent using the Visual Script App
Repetitive configuration management
Attribute information management
Understanding and can use the Component Base Modelling method.
Component specification / Object Type / Change LOD / Reserved Feature
Ability to apply a pre-made template.
Can model without using Sub elements.
Can use parameters and relationships.
Can troubleshoot errors
Can create a work breakdown structure in the design process.
Understanding the difference between User Feature and Power Copy and can write.
Use the template by registering it in the catalogue.
Create a Design Table and use it.
Advanced Work Packages
coordinating with fabricators
Understanding how to use simple EKL and can use it at the 3DShap Level. (Rule, Loop)

Could have experience in MEP, HVAC, Contruction management, EPC/Oil & Gas, Aerospace, Automotive, Architecture

4+ years' experience with designing with CATIA
Intro level of knowledge to 3DExperience and DELMIA an asset
