Job Summary:
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.

Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications

Qualifications and Education Requirements
BS+4-8 YRS or MS+2-6 YRS
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, systems engineering, aeronautical engineering, computer engineering or related technical degree.
Experience in systems engineering.
Experience with system design.

Desired skills
Knowledge of tactical fighter aircraft design and operations is preferred and knowledge of F-35 specifically would be beneficial.
Familiarity with object-oriented concepts and the use of the Unified Modeling Language (UML) are desired.
Knowledge of the F-35 design toolset, including DOORs, Rhapsody, Framemaker, Dimensions, and SIMS would be beneficial.
Demonstrate the ability to analyze complex technical problems, present findings/recommendations and implement solutions.
Highly motivated, energetic self-starter.
Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate versatility and desire to be a contributor in all phases and aspects of product development.
Experience with Microsoft Office products
