Software Test Engineer

Description:
1. Understanding of basic UNIX, DOS and Windows commands.
2. Writing test cases and writing fault reports.
3. Some knowledge of the underlying programming language (e.g., Java, C, or C++)
4. Some knowledge of network message communications (CAN, TCP, UDP, and 1553).
5. Ability to evaluate, recommend and implement automated test tools and strategies.
6. Ability to create, maintain, and upgrade automated test scripts and architectures for all developed software and systems.
7. Ability to create test specifications and test cases as required to ensure verification of all defined requirements.
8. Ability to develop and run regression tests to ensure products are backwards compatible.
9. Ability to use automated functional graphical user interface (GUI) testing tools.
10. Experience working with NI, DSpace, or ADI HIL (Hardware In the Loop) environments.
11. Experience using IBM Rational DOORS software.
12. Experience using NI LabVIEW, VeriStand, or TestStand
13. Experience using Matlab or Simulink.
14. Familiarity with Vector CAN tech products (CANoe and CANalyzer)
15. Excellent communications and documentation skills.
16. Proficiency with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Visio, Project, etc.)
