Program Planner

Description:
Program Planner Sr. – This individual prepares, coordinates and maintains plans and schedules for software group using Agile methodologies.

Individual will follow Agile Earned Value Management (EVM) guidebook to lead software team in building a successful, achievable Agile IMS schedule.

Individual will communicate schedule impacts and propose corrective actions to applicable stakeholders. Additionally, this individual will formulate and recommend corrective action measures such as schedule revisions, manpower adjustments, fund allocations, and work requirements where necessary.

This Sr. Program Planner will work to develop an integrated plan bringing Program Planning and Agile planning together into an integrated schedule.

The following basic qualifications are required: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education is required; experience with MS tools suite, including MS Project; experience using Agile management tools in support of Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar system; trained in Agile development techniques; and understands basic concepts of Program Management and ability to interact with peers and management.

Desired skills are experience with Fast Track, MS tool suite, and Agile management tools such as JIRA or VersionOne software.
