Summary:
Do you have an eye for detail and a passion for developing innovation solutions? Join our team! As a Database Design Analyst III, you will work with database management systems and design and implement solutions to store, organize and secure data. You will identify user needs and set up new databases, both on premise, and in the cloud. In many cases, a Database Design Analyst must integrate data from outdated or legacy systems into contemporary data management systems. You will also test and coordinate system modifications and troubleshoot problems when they occur. You will maintain system performance, understand the platform on which the database runs, and provision and manage system access. At this level, you'll also brief leadership and mentor other, less senior analysts.
Must-haves:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field with at least 6 or more years of relevant experience
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Strong command of SQL and SQL server tools
Significant experience with database technologies (MS SQL)
Strong understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling
Strong knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards
Experience with Linux and Windows Server environments
PowerShell and Unix shell scripting skills
Preferred:
Experience with cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure)
Experience with the database technologies (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, AWS Redshift)
Familiarity with SSAS, SSIS, SSRS
MCSE/MCSA certifications preferred
The ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required Learn more about the background check process for Security Clearances
