About the Role
As a Quality Inspector, you play a critical role in ensuring the airworthiness and safety of aircraft and components. You will be responsible for inspections, documentation, and Return-to-Service approvals — directly impacting flight safety, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Execute Return-to-Service processes and approve aircraft in accordance with FAA and other regulatory guidelines.
Perform in-depth inspections on aircraft, engines, components, and precision tools for conformity, damage, and compliance.
Review and document work packages, arrival records, inspection results, and maintenance actions with precision and accuracy.
Inspect new, repaired, or rebuilt parts for defects, conformity, and count accuracy.
Validate and approve corrective actions for repairs and alterations conducted by Aircraft Maintenance Technicians.
Interpret aircraft drawings, technical documents (REO, EO, DCN), and regulatory data (FAR, AD, SB, CFR, etc).
Perform final aircraft walk-around inspections before maintenance release.
Support and assist customers as needed in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications
Required:
A&P Certificate Required
5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience
1+ year in corporate/commercial jet environments
Ability to read/interpret engineering documents and maintenance manuals
Clear verbal and written communication skills in English
Knowledge of return-to-service procedures and regulatory standards (FAA, CAA, FAR, etc.)
Preferred:
Experience using SAP, Pivotal, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word)
Proficiency with inspection tools and test equipment
Familiarity with aviation forms/processes (RED, RFE, SRPSA)

Required Qualifications
Typically 7 years of experience in conventional machining, sheet metal, fabrication, or related fields
At least 5 years of experience specifically in tool and die construction

In this hands-on role, you’ll be a critical contributor to the bonding, assembly, and structural integrity of next-generation spaceship airframes. Your craftsmanship will directly influence performance, safety, and mission success—on the ground and beyond.
Assemble composite and metallic parts and assemblies of varying complexity and size
Set up assembly fixturing and perform drilling, fay sealing, trimming, fitting, and fastener installation
Safely operate shop tools and machinery including drills, die grinders, calipers, and precision measurement tools
Drill a wide range of hole sizes in composite, metal, and mixed-material stack-ups
Install and work with multiple fastener types such as Hi-Lite, Hi-Lok, and Composi-Lok
Follow detailed assembly instructions, drawings, blueprints, and digital models
